Teachers, I have all the respect in the world for you guys. You virtually raise my kids while I work, and ironically, make more than you do, which is really sad.

The hardest part of this past month has been working while managing five kids. Three are independent, one is very needy and sneaky, and the other is a 5 month old baby. So I'm alone now and still can't seem to function. What gives?

When I switched over to using a club store, I did it because I had proven to myself that many of the snacks we buy were so much cheaper there. However, there was a problem. Monkey see, monkey eat. If I put all of the snacks out, they'd vanish in an instant, and that included putting them in the pantry.

Poor, poor first time Mom. When they handed me Henry at the hospital, I took one look at him, thought, awwww...., andd then immediately thought "why are you handing me this thing and what am I supposed to do with it?". Killer Mom instincts, right?

A note from the warranty company: "Your washing machine should determine the type of life you have. It is a God and should rule over everything in your home, pets and body hair are not allowed, neither are you allowed to have children"

This dinner duo actually lasts us three days, or two days and two lunches and it doesn't have to be back-to-back, which is a nice break for the tastebuds. It still uses all of the same ingredients though, preventing waste and saving money.

Not only is the poor kid impulsive and hyper, he also legitimately doesn't even hear us when we give him directions. If you can imagine, we'd be frustrated and he wouldn't have a clue.

I was looking at an old toy train of my husband's today, the one that survived 30 years until our third child got ahold of it. For whatever reason it hit me. This whole having kids thing is falsely advertised.

I make it a point not to eat or drink after my kids. It's a thing for me. Yes, I'll get their germs anyway, but not directly in my mouth.

They say Facebook knows you better than you know yourself, and I believe it. It knows what makes me stop, scroll on, and scroll back up. I will say this though... Men's Facebook feeds are completely different than women's feeds... It's bizarre looking at someone else's feed.

I hate leftovers, but I also hate to cook. Getting home after a full day of work with two under two in the kitchen plus four more is nightmarish. The last thing I want to do is manage that while also managing hot pans and boiling water.

About 15 minutes into the interview I hear the office door jiggling. I had locked the door as another precaution against intruding children. Then I hear a click. The door had unlocked. In the midst of giving one of the panelists an answer, I quietly say a prayer that my five year old, the only one who would've had the gumption to unlock that door, does not show up in the background of the camera

My five year old heard that I had an interview and his eyes glazed over, so I told him that I had a really important meeting and that if I impressed the people, I'd be able to buy him even more snacks. "More snacks?" he said, with wonder. "Yes, more snacks" I replied. "So please sit here with my phone and watch Octonauts."
