Work, A Business, 6 Kids, and a Blog

One of the reasons I love using text-to-talk when I draft my blog is that so many little moments feel blog-worthy in the moment, but I don’t have time to sit down and type them out, especially not on my phone. I’m very rarely at my computer when I’m with my kids.
With text-to-talk, I can be in the car with my littles asleep in the backseat, on the way to pick someone up, or even taking a quick five-minute break from work, and just start dictating a draft. At first, I had to type everything myself, but now ChatGPT does a wonderful job of cleaning up all the “ums,” “ahs,” and other filler sounds I make while talking, and organizing my thoughts.
After that, I can polish it up, and it turns into a really nice blog entry. As a mom of six, a working mom, and a business-owning mom, this is basically the only way I can consistently record my ideas and generate content.
I also love that it keeps the blog true to my voice. I ask it not to add fancy words or inject ideas that aren’t mine, just clean it up like I would have written it, fix the punctuation, and remove the filler words. Sure, sometimes it swings and misses, but usually I can have it redo it, and then I give it my final polish.
Of course, I always make sure to add my own signature and review everything. Nothing goes live that I haven’t read, edited, and approved.
This process lets me capture ideas in the chaos of real life and turn them into content I’m proud of.

Think about every photo you’ve taken of your children, every memory you’ve preserved for them. You deserve that same love and attention. Come to Kristian Hutchings Portraits, let me pamper you from start to finish, and leave with portraits that show the beauty, strength, and grace you give the world every day. Motherhood is part of our legacy and we should leave our children and grandchildren a true reflection of our beauty to remember us by.

Life in our house is loud, messy and full of literally everything. Love, noise, laundry, laughter, and definitely could use a bit more grace. I'm happily married to my best friend, grounded in my Catholic faith, and fueled by five to six hours of sleep per night and adrenaline.
I try to find joy in the everyday — even when it's wild, because without the little bit of joy, this life would be unbearable. This space is for the moms in the middle of it all: the ones juggling family, faith, work, and wonder. The ones that need someone else's messy life to make their own seem better or somewhat normal. You're not alone, and you're doing better than you think.
Welcome to Six Sweet Smiles — where we celebrate the mess, the miracles,
